It was his 7th DUI, but let off jail as John Nord (The Berzerker) is now in assisted living and a wheelchair due to ALS.

Took ill traveling to a convention, in hospital since last week, all appearances cancelled.

I can't help but notice that there is no cushion on the wheelchair.  It makes me question how much he is in the chair, as a full-time user would definitely have a better setup.  This might suggest he is still able to walk around in his home environment, which would bode well for him.
