Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted December 14, 2014 I'm sorry but, how do they actually tell the difference when a Scottish person has tourettes?
time 8,641 Posted December 19, 2014 Anyone watching last week's QI will have seen a brief discussion, (and briefer excerpt) of this... which was doing the rounds here five years ago!
Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted December 22, 2014 Often advertised as the worst music video ever. With a good emphasis on the "worst music" part. Fucking hilarious.Don't f'in care if it's been posted here before, fuck off.
maryportfuncity 10,662 Posted December 24, 2014 Wilfully brainless and available in two versions; soccerboss Mick McCarthy and Wham's Careless Whisper make the most unlikely partners!
maryportfuncity 10,662 Posted February 3, 2015 Nine minutes of compiled music, all culled from releases with the worst looking covers out there. There is stuff that is guaranteed to offend lots of people (so avoid it if that might be you), but for the rest of us, it's here: http://boingboing.net/2015/02/02/the-music-behind-the-worst-alb.html

I've often wondered what they'd sound like. I was suprised to find JGW there. The cover is weird, but the song's pretty good. regards, Hein

Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted February 3, 2015 I loved that Millie Jackson one in particular, she was just "ahead of her time"/laying the groundwork for this genius:

It may be a defect in my esthetic sense, it may be the lure of the perverse, but I've long been attracted to Really Bad Art, be it music, art or literature. In this case they meet and my heart jumps. Do you know the Museum of Bad Art? regards, Hein

maryportfuncity 10,662 Posted March 4, 2015 This album is currently up for free download on the hugely laudable Mr Weird and Wacky site: Link: http://mrweirdandwacky.blogspot.co.uk/
maryportfuncity 10,662 Posted March 24, 2015 Not exactly a video but I thought I'd draw the attention of the group to the fact that the following audio atrocity is currently the delightful free download of the day if you Google Mr Weird and Wacky's wonderful blog site: 1
maryportfuncity 10,662 Posted April 16, 2015 Not sure where else I'd post this. Not a video link but a music blog site full of weird shit and with an agreeable habit of focussing on posting tracks by the recently deceased and obscure (links to the side of the main page have a couple for Death (funny) and Death (not funny) http://illfolks.blogspot.co.uk/
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 17, 2015 Not sure where else I'd post this. Not a video link but a music blog site full of weird shit and with an agreeable habit of focussing on posting tracks by the recently deceased and obscure (links to the side of the main page have a couple for Death (funny) and Death (not funny) http://illfolks.blogspot.co.uk/ I read through a few entries; this is great stuff. Hard not to appreciate the obscure. For example the January entry for the Moir Sisters due to one of their deaths, now I wanna hear that shit. And I know full well going I to it that it will be....and don't care. SirC
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted April 28, 2015 Had some wild storm cells roll through Louisiana today. I had to wade through two feet of water to get to work vehicle after the worst was over, only 20 minutes or so. Meanwhile in Baton Rouge, an hour east of me, a couple boxcars get blown off a bridge, winds estimated 80-100 mph. Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted July 31, 2015 Someone changed every line in "Don't You Want Me Baby" to the first (and most important) line https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X58g1HKxXPo (I would have done something like this ages ago but I don't have the non-laziness technological know-how)
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted August 1, 2015 The longer it plays the funnier it is. Why indeed. But it's brilliant. SC
