It was on this day 5 years ago that Boots Randolph died of death. Moderately young at the age of 80 he'd had a stroke and then did croak 1 month to the day beyond his birthday.

 

In lesss even numbered deaths, We look back today and recall Don Drysdale, a baseball great who made numerous television appearances as himself on weekly sitcoms. He was 56 when he died on July 3 in 1993, next year he will finally score. (or at least be gone a score)
