I currently can't imagine Kirk Douglas being a good voice-actor. It's one of the better known episodes - "The Day the Violence Died" where Bart helps a homeless man who claims he created Itchy and Scratchy. Kirk voiced the Homeless Man - he did pretty good. Phil Hartman and Doris Grau made a few appearances after their deaths, but she is the first "true" guest star to appear posthumously as Grau and Hartman were both essentially cast members. Anyway, said guy is American comedian Robert Schimmel, who I can't see mentioned anywhere else on here... He had a heart attack in 1998, survived non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2000 (despite being told he had 6 months to live), has Hep C, and now, last month, revealed he has cirrhosis of the liver and needs a transplant.
