Vaagheid 141 Posted January 4, 2011 Bit harsh to say I 'nicked' them. Granted, there is a lot of overlap but they're in a different order. to be totally honest I Googled a couple before thinking 'fuck it' and just going for names I liked in any old order. This is the least thought through, most random team I've deadpooled in about four years. I couldn't even tell you who some of them are. I didn't even bother to check if anyone in Holland knows much about Gerry Rafferty, but I guess we'll soon find out if he's qualified for NDP points. There is summat to be said for just going for it. I spent a lot less time on the normal CPDP line up who broke the points record last year than I did on the carefully crafted theme team ten who stubbornly refused to cark. Not meant to disapoint or anything but this years NDP won't start till January 11th (2011) and will than run till January 10th (2012).

Vaagheid 141 Posted January 5, 2011 I'll be pushing the centenarians down to the last places of the lists, Because they will be always be worth just 10 points (no other rules count on them). By the way Rotten Ali, Vinegar Tits, Bert Trautmann, time, Tomb Raider and Ra Ra Rasputin should I enter you with your usernames or do you have (maybe somewhat Dutch sounding) teamnames that you are planning to use? Lady Grendel 139 Posted June 7, 2011 Not exactly on topic, I was sure this deadpool had offered a prize of Stroopwafels for the winner of this deadpool, with even a picture posted at one point. Sad to see those posts have been deleted. My boss has just spent the weekend in Amsterdam and brought some back for her staff. I can report that they are quite nice, quite sweet, but that didn't stop me having 2. We were advised to sit them on top of our hot cups of coffee to heat them through first. Turned out to be not a good idea for one of my colleagues, he drinks out of a china tea cup, too late he realised his cup was too wide and he ended up fishing it out and burning his fingers, much to our amusement. Toast 16,140 Posted June 8, 2011 They are absolutely yum. You can sometimes find them in Waitrose, albeit called something else and made in Wales, believe it or not.
Vinegar Tits 606 Posted June 9, 2011 You can get them in Lidl as well. Very tasty and even more yummy if you pour toffee over them while warm.
Vaagheid 141 Posted July 9, 2011 I have decided to end this dead pool. My contributions to this forum lately have been non-existing and they'll probably be less frequent in the upcoming months. The reason being is that I have recently been acapted into art school, this has always kind of been a dream of mine, so I want to put as much effort/foccus into it as I can. I am sorry for this harsh/abrupt discission and I hope that you all understand my motivations for doing this.

Vaagheid 141 Posted August 8, 2011 Thank you, all... Aye, scan and post us some sketches... I have the nasty habit of putting a signature under the sketches I make... So if I posted them anyone could see/read who I am... I am therefor deciding against it (if you don't mind)...
