The game will once again see the winners lift the Simon Shields memorial trophy, which was named after Simon who sadly left us at such a young age. Simon played for both clubs and was a highly thought of friend and team mate to many at both clubs and is still missed by all of us. Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted March 30, 2019 Well what a day, started with our Highland league primary stars tournament this morning at Claggan Park. Huge success and huge thanks to Linda laverty, Willie Edwards Mikey Mackinnon and everyone else who helped make it a huge success. This is what are about! Then it was up to Grant Street Park Inverness v Clach. Promising early start with 2 good chances to go ahead before eventually going down 5-0. Really disappointing result considering how the lads played. So on to next week v Nairn at Claggan. This should be pretty special because Sky Sports will be at Claggan Park to meet the fans and committee and film the game for Jeff Stelling and Soccer Saturday. They love what we are trying to do here and are excited to tell the world about it. Don't know if big Chris Kamara will be there but should be great anyway. Let's show the world that Fort William is still a football town by getting behind the team and filling Claggan Park. Please come along, bring your friends, kids, anyone you know or don't know.
