Octopus of Odstock 2,205 Posted October 21, 2012 I'm not in favour, no. It's easy enough to get an obit as it is.

time 8,626 Posted October 21, 2012 I'm not sure why you'd need an additional source, whether it be HP or anything else, but as you're in charge, its entirely up to you.
Spade_Cooley 9,542 Posted October 26, 2012 I can see the argument for Huff Post, but I don't like it. It's going to make "dying bride/mother who needs cancer medication/inspirational vlog recording dying teenager" obits a lot easier to get, which is the last thing the DDP needs. I'm gonna feel seedy enough making ol' dying Korean with religious parents broad my captain next year as it is, I don't need her accompanied by a supporting cast of similarly unfamous peeps. themaninblack 2,112 Posted October 26, 2012 Well I put a fair whack of the names still on the List of the Lost through the search function on the Huffington Post UK website and none of them came up so make of that what you will...

Spade_Cooley 9,542 Posted December 8, 2012 Fair play DDT, it's not been as breathtaking as last year's win but it was a consummate performance. If last year was Brazil this year was Germany. And, as always, thanks to TMiB for running the whole shebang.

maryportfuncity 10,658 Posted December 16, 2012 I'm considering including the UK edition of Huffington Post from 2013 as a legitimate site for obits. Any thoughts? No strong opinions either way. They're credible enough, but only because a lot of others had already fallen to HP levels of celebrity tittilation before they arrived. It'll count for the Deathrace, but that's summat of a low-hanger fest anyway. The real test is what difference - if any - it might have made to this year's DDP result.
