It wasn't really taught in my day as far as I remember. I always read a lot so I absorbed how words were spelt (and still don't know if it should be spelt or spelled!)

What's worse today is that errors are circulated throughout social media so people don't have good examples to follow.

Quite a lot of stress was put upon grammar when I was at school, but many just seemed to let it fall by the wayside at some point. I think in today's society though, in the age of social media, people are more inclined to type in their own voice, which explains away the likes of minor grammatical mistakes or informalities, superfluous words and so on, which is great, but one side-effect (hyphenated or nah?...actually who tf cares) of this seems to be people paying a lot less attention to their use of punctuation, plurals, there/their/they're, that kind of thing.

Anyway, this is much more pleasant than speculating about a victim of prolonged mental health issues who, despite all the judgement, seems not to have taken her own life.

Yes.

They can write it up however they like. I'm sticking with my call.

And if it turns out I'm wrong, that doesn't matter a jot.

I don't believe she keeled over without influence even if it's just a guess.

And before our Irish, sorry French, contributor turns up again that same article also acknowledges that there were 8, yeah 8, previous suicide attempts.

Ultimately? Yes, I was wrong. Weird how it works out sometimes. rip.

Just saying to some of ye calling Sinead a narcissist. What if it comes out that her death was natural causes?

HG Tudor did a series on Sinead's life and character after her death. It is very interesting and I had no idea what an appalling and traumatic childhood she endured.

Here's the conclusion, but the whole playlist is here  if you want to hear the full story.

Here's the conclusion.  You can scroll quickly through the transcript if you don't have time to listen.

So does he think she was a narcissist?

Spoiler

No, she was neither a narcissist nor an empath.  She was a "normal".
