Just looked up his bio on imdb and the dude had roles in about 2 dozen popular us sitcoms over the last 20 years but I can't recall him at all. Not sure if that makes him a really good charecter actor or a mediocre one with a good agent.

Aye, felt I "must" recognise him due to his rolls but was clueless.

 

Hence bit part, though some may disagree as he starred as the main guy in a sitcom.

Antonia Bird

Director who worked on the quality films Face,Priest and Ravenous with Robert Carlyle and the not so quality film Mad Love with Drew Barrymore as well as a lot of stuff on British tv is dead at 54.

Not sure if t his was reported at the time  but the Guardian has just reported the death of British actress Barbara Hicks a  few weeks ago aged 89 http://www.theguardi...6/barbara-hicks

 

Spooky, was on this site recently and couldn't remember is Barbara Hicks was still alive. Now we know
