Yeah, I have never been in the lead of a dead pool for so long, so that may be why I was talking about it a lot. I'm sure when I've been in the lead more often, I probably won't talk about it as much, if at all. If you want my opinion, unless one of my picks that aren't on lots of teams die soon, I won't be able to gain the lead back again this year. I still believe I got a few hits left this year, but that won't be enough for me to gain back the lead. To be more precise, I'm thinking The Unknown Man could be a dark horse in this competition...

It is. That comment was more on not expecting to lead for 4 months I think?? Anyways, I'm happy with that achievement. It'll help me hopefully reach even better dead pooling goals in the future...

 

EDIT: I was briefly leading in Sean's dead pool as well, but lost that due to a few list of the losters. Probably should've worded it better tbh...

Ah enjoy it. I was once in lead of the Hartlepool for 4 days. Not to say it was a short run, but by the time I'd noticed it, I'd already lost it a week previously!

I am tempted to try to do some team analysis to see which teams could potentially be a threat to the title, but given my track record, I don't think I will, especially if I receive backlash by some forum member on why am they not included. It's probably pointless anyways, cause deaths can happen at anytime. But if it doesn't seem pointless to someone, they can make one, if they want...

In any other pool hitting the front at start of last quarter would be good but in this, the cruellest dead pool to be leading, it is pretty meaningless.

Last year, even though I was 500 pts in front. I still thought I might lose because someone's joker would die on New Years Eve, which would give 1000pts, I think.
