Sir Creep 7,082 Posted October 8, 2019 Fuxsake -- 6 months between posts? This wee college is one somewhat close (read 100 miles) to my old home in Detroit. Former Alma College president Dr. Alan J. Stone died this week at his home in Arizona. Dr. Stone was the college's 11th president, serving from 1988 to 2000. He died after a battle with pancreatic cancer after a brief period under hospice care in Arizona. Stone oversaw a period of change and growth at Alma College that included the opening of the Heritage Center for Performing Arts in 1993. May be excited to know the name of the team mascot: The Alma Scots SC
