Anybody on my DDP list for 2015 should probably go on an 'Ideas And Possibilities For 2016' list given my number of hits for 2014...

You mean the guy who brings new meaning to "Deadbeat Dad"? i.e. he beat his best kid so bad the psychological effects of it probably had a big part in his relatively early death (er... and all the other stuff too)?

Michel Houellebecq looks more and more like the wreck he wants to be:

1)Sir Nicholas Winton

2)Clare Hollingworth

3)Douglas Slocombe

4)Norman Lloyd

5)David Rockefeller

6)Charles H Townes

7)June Foray

8)Sheila Mercier

9)Alan Young

10)Jimmy Hill

11)Colin Dexter

12)Antony Booth

13)Mary Tyler Moore

15)Liz Dawn

16)Stephen Hawking

17)Muhammad Ali

18)Freddie Starr

19)Caroline Aherne

20)Paul Gascoigne

There'll be some mightily pissed off dead poolers if all of them are available for start line action a year from now.

How about Julie Adams and Ricou Browning? They're the last surviving actors, from the creature from the black lagoon.

I know this is only based on a National Enquirer entry but Daryl Dragon (b.1942) (Captain from Captain & Tennille) is reported to have entered a nursing home because of an ongoing neurological condition.

Didn't realise it was so serious, he'd doubtless get a UK obit (at least marginal BBC coverage).

The last edition of Charlie Hebdo was about Michel Houellebecq's new book about a Halibut becoming french president. Maybe he would have been a good pick for 2015 already...

I'm not saying he's having a date with Death next year, but I'm sure he and Death are at least good pals.

After seeing a retweet by Helen Fawkes (who has a good record in highlighting 'potential' - see Kate Gross) , I had a look at the lib dem candidate for Dover and Deal , Sarah Smith.

http://www.dover-express.co.uk/Sarah-Smith-diagnosed-cancer-Lib-Dem-vows/story-23623422-detail/story.html

Aged 50 , and diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer 6 months ago, could be in the "right" timeframe.

Ron Moody is 91 today. Might be worth considering in the next couple of years.

Married to a much younger woman and has six children under 30. No health information though.

YES! Let's hope that tick-turd goes in 2016 or earlier if possible.
