Murder On The Orient Express Cast

Recommended Posts

Already regretting watching the Branagh version which is on the tellybox this evening.

The acting is quite simply abysmal. Everyone's posture is so odd, and they look like they know they are making a pale imitation of one of the best movies ever.

Ah well, mes amis, we struggle on, do we not? I'm determined to laugh at it from this point on, treat it like a comedy version.

For me, it was seeing his Poirot running after a suspect and jumping from great heights..yeah, Poirot would never do that.

Also bursting out into accusation. Poirot takes everybody's evidence and nods politely, allows his grey cells to cogitate and then brings everything together.

Once I started laughing at it, I couldn't stop, especially at how everyone was so terrible.

Even aged 60 she was willing to bare all on stage as Cleopatra

Sadly, I missed that. :(

Josette married and divorced Mark Padmore who is my favourite British tenor.

His Schubert recordings with Paul Lewis, on Harmonia Mundi, are beautiful.
