Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,219 Posted December 14, 2015 I can see no point of placing an age restriction on site. There are only a handful of regulars who post to the comments. Others tend to be from guests who drop by from time to time. How many profiles on here that have been created where the person signed up, made one comment several years ago and has probably forgotten their username and password, or forgotten the site completely? Short of there being an option "Are you over 14/16/17? Click "Yes" or "No"" you've no control over it. Even use of grammar and spelling doesn't mean much these days. I know one person who has 4 bachelor degrees, just finished up on their PhD, works at the local uni as their head librarian, and the majority of emails I get from her I have to decipher because of how atrocious her grammar and spelling is. Yeah but I bet SHE DOEST CAPITALISE HER WORDS TO ADD GRAVITAS AND CALL YOU A CUNT DOES SHE!!!!

No, but she will have the tendancy to leave the Caps Lock on half way through the email, so you have no idea if she's suddenly yelling or not. oh wait... Lard Bazaar 3,799 Posted December 14, 2015 Lets face it that teenagers are tech savvy. It is probably better they are in here than watching hardcore porn or buying drugs on line. I am sure that if parental controls are in place then this forum would be blocked. I say let them stay if they can cope with the constant verbal abuse and the correction of their grammer.grammar. and spelling. I was just going to point that one out Aye, sorted, so there's an entrance exam from now on asking to distinguish between their/they're/there and in what circumstances one might usefully employ a semi-colon Or full stops!
charon 4,943 Posted December 14, 2015 Hell yes. They got trolled this year or last by another forum I'm on. They responded in numbers and it all ended smashingly (one mum posting a pic of her tits with writing on them to prove she was a dame). Now those sort of actions make me not care about the health updates on there. Post em up!!!! Remembered the troll that started it all. Pretty well achieved in my humble. Boy signed up to mumsnet as a single mother and posted looking for advice on a troubled teenager. They didn't twig that he was using the template of 'the fresh prince of bel air'. Twas the rage that ensued when they found out, don't piss off man haters is my advice. Fuck knows how any of the boots got pregnant.

charon 4,943 Posted December 17, 2015 Nope, on either site. Did make the Record though. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/mumsnet-take-pie-bovril-over-2841710 Mumsnet take on Pie and Bovril over "hairy-legged man-haters" insult as forum battle breaks out on the web 11:58, 23 NOV 2013 BY DAILYRECORD.CO.UK A SCOTTISH football site was on the receiving end, as Mumsnet "trolls" hit back with abuse of their own as "banter" between the two forums descended in to foul mouthed back and forths. David Woolfall/Getty ImagesKeyboard warriors on Mumsnet and Pie and Bovril came to cyber blowsKeyboard warriors on Mumsnet and Pie and Bovril came to cyber blows A GROUP of male football fans took on a women’s forum in a war of words – and lost. Members of website Pie and Bovril started the row by saying Mumsnet was full of “hairy-legged man-haters”. But when it came to insults, the women proved they were way ahead of the game. They hit back with a stream of foul-mouthed tirades against the footie fans, branding them “a crowd of gobsh***s” and renaming the website Pie and B*llocks. The comments got so offensive that site administrators at Pie and Bovril banned Mumsnet “trolls” from their site. And bosses on the Scottish football fans’ forum have asked members not to goad the?women again. Pie and Bovril founder David McDonald told members: “OK guys, think this one has gone far?enough now. If you want to troll Mumsnet for whatever reason, then that’s your own lookout. But please don’t do it in the name of P&B as I don’t want anything to do with it. “Let’s give it a bye now before it gets serious.” Some of the 25,000 members of Pie and Bovril thought it would be funny to post fake queries on Mumsnet. They asked daft questions about “eating mushy peas with placenta”, “my wife’s weight” and “husbands and homemade porn”. One Pie and Bovril member posed as a mum who was considering sending her son away to live with her wealthy sister – a spoof of the storyline of US hit show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The blokes also posted insults on their own chat forum, branding Mumsnet as “the most twee, sickening, sycophantic bunch of crones in north-western Europe”. But they were unprepared for the backlash. In a thread that ran to more than 1000 posts, Mumsnet members used language that would turn heads in the stands of any football ground and claimed “real men watch rugby”. Last night, David claimed the comments that flew back and forth were “just a bit of banter”. He added: “I spoke to the ladies who run Mumsnet and we both decided to call a halt to the thing. “When you are running big communities, these things happen from time to time.” But Mumsnet founder Justine Roberts said: “It’s a fact that the internet massively eases the ability to communicate and an unfortunate by-product is that it allows unpleasant people to communicate more easily too. “Women all over the web tend to be a target for misogynistic trolling and, of course, Mumsnet – as a predominantly female space – is no exception.”
