I posted news about his hospitalization some days ago, but he had been in hospital for weeks.

Seems to me he had cancer caught when it was too late, and some complication finished him off.

I wonder if former Monaco PM Michel Lévêque is still alive. He'd be 91 now but is not on the "100 oldest living state leaders" list as it's been over 10 years since the last time he was confirmed alive. There's a memorial page from 2015 here, but it might be for another Michel Leveque. I can't find any images of this guy online.

Emrys Roberts (wiki), General Secretary of Plaid Cymru (1962–1964) died on 9th January aged 93 according to this tweet.

Stood for Parliament at least 7 times in general elections and by-elections. Also very active in the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

My first  potential list of the Missed DDP  sin this year. 

A 2024 pick for me now dropped.  Actually I'm being premature someone else may have picked him but I'm highly sceptical.   Hope so though

I know how you feel, the number of interesting old parliamentarians who have died off the DDP in recent years because Dick Taverne stays alive and cockblocks the rest of them off my Oldies team!
