Alex Zanardi survived his very serious accident, but requires "machines at home". 2019 names: Doug DeRoo is a local DJ from Bakersfield (and Dave DeRoo's dad) who was in hospice back in 2019 according to facebook posts. Still alive and looks rough. Gavin Robertson is an Aussie cricketer who has been suffering from brain cancer for five years. 2018 names: Sean Cox is a liverpool fan who suffered massive injuries in an attack on a stadium. He can stand up again now. Virgil Hunter, boxing coach, was in deep coma back then but is doing quite well now. Alejandro Junco de la Vega.
