Joey Russ 7,330 Posted March 24, 2017 I got 3/4 early December. It's not the first time this happened.
msc 18,685 Posted March 24, 2017 So what you're saying is: sometimes, obvious weeks are obvious weeks!

YoungWillz 21,592 Posted March 24, 2017 We've normally had a major death just after the entrants for the week have been announced so far in 2017. Nowt. There's some breaking news a-coming, maybe?
The Dead Cow 620 Posted March 30, 2017 In stark contrast to last week's onslaught of big-name deaths allowing for a rather predictable Last Word selection, this week has seen a bit of a drought making predictions rather challenging. Nevertheless there are plenty of names out there. Kathrada and Storey feel like certs. Clem Curtis and Lola Albright perhaps? Oleg Popov from the archives? Who knows, unless you are the producer of the show.
msc 18,685 Posted March 30, 2017 Rocky's not been here in a bit? Nicely slow week so if Richard Adams doesn't get in now... Shotton/Storey/one or two from the archives/finish on a bit of Foundations.

msc 18,685 Posted March 31, 2017 Damn, forgot entirely about Lucky, and iirc, I'm the one who posted the bloody death notice.
Bibliogryphon 9,709 Posted April 3, 2017 Darcus Howe is so going to be on this week.

The Dead Cow 620 Posted April 6, 2017 Rickles' death provides some food for thought for this week's Last Word. Darcus Howe and Ikutaro Kakehashi feel like certs. Artists/activists Gilbert Baker and Beau Duck both stand a chance. Too late for Clem Curtis? Too soon for Brian Matthew? Who knows, unless you are the producer of the show. Bibliogryphon 9,709 Posted April 7, 2017 Darcus Howe (told you), Andy Coogan, Dr Sylvia Moody, Yevgeny Yevtushenko & Peter Shotton. Who would not have been able to predict that.

msc 18,685 Posted April 14, 2017 Masha Leon, Tim Pigott-Smith, Chris Morahan, Parv Bancil, Marthe Gosteli, Brian Matthew apparently. So, you know, EXACTLY as I predicted then.

Joey Russ 7,330 Posted May 8, 2017 We missed a week. This weeks list includes Robert Pirsig, Shobha Nehru, Michael Ballhaus, Leo Baxendale, and Bruce Langhorne.
msc 18,685 Posted May 8, 2017 It was an interesting one too, but this thread is pretty much reliant around its host. Especially when some of us don't actually get round to the episodes till weeks after, depending on personal schedule. I think this is the first time this year I'm actually on the current weeks!
Joey Russ 7,330 Posted May 12, 2017 Ueli Steck, Lord Williams of Baglan, Sylvia Moy, Captain James Dickson MBE, Jon Prinz Basically, people you wouldn't know (apart from maybe Steck) apart from dead pooling. Bayldon should be a shoe in for next week.
