Gooseberry Crumble 5,337 Posted December 21, 2017 Also just submitted my entry. Hopefully I do better than this year's deathrace but in truth I couldn't do much worse!
maryportfuncity 10,639 Posted December 22, 2017 Seeing the posts above and pointing out you'll know the entries are in and merged into the masterlist when you see your name amongst the list of entered teams on the first page. Another comment I'd make is that with so few lists in it's already a notablely long masterlist - plenty of variety. Keep 'em comin - as Annabel Chong might have said.

Joey Russ 7,220 Posted December 26, 2017 Preparing my team to send on Saturday. But Maryport, is there any guarantee that your inbox would be clear enough that we won't end up in the same situation as last year?

But Maryport, is there any guarantee that your inbox would be clear enough that we won't end up in the same situation as last year? Guarantees, in this life - (checks internet and discovers Leah Bracknell is still alive) - I guess not. Though I've cleared the inbox of late. Last year's situation was nowt to do with the capacity of my inbox - which wasn't at 100% even on the deadline. Just make sure you read the rules regarding when to submit. 00-01 on New Year's Day and any entrant is fucked (and then told politely they can't enter)

I can confirm the 2015 winner has sent a team to the boss. It wont be a massively competitive one, I just like the taking part.

Yikes. Professor John Smith, for example. You wouldn't list him under PJS, just JS. So Mr, Mrs, Bishop etc etc are the same.

Joey Russ 7,220 Posted December 28, 2017 I keep pondering whether to send my deathrace team now due to a potential PM clog of being overfilled with entries and potentially miss a sure fire hit deathrace hit or send it later and risk the potential of having to make a public team, therefore eliminating a few people from my prospective line up. I do, however, believe that I got a strong deathrace team for next year, and while I may not win, it'll certainly have at least a fighting chance, unless a ton of people decides to leave before the starting line...
