Wormfarmer 427 Posted October 1, 2018 Sep was a slow month, only 2 hits. Could mean good things for Oct. The Slavic Death returns to action after a self-imposed hiatus. The game is chronologically 3/4ths over and there are (in my estimate) 7 teams still in the running (allowing for Sean to regroup and put in a team or two before the end of the year). Maybe another 3 teams are a longshot with some real hot lists and a bit of luck to match. We are coming down the stretch, it is time to whip your horse . . . . Sir Creep 7,070 Posted October 2, 2018 BTW as you can see I clearly had a typo with ND Tiwari, which was supposed to be 'Do Muoi'. Damn keyboard.

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted October 4, 2018 Country music star Charlie Daniels expressed his concern for Christian Abercrombie on Twitter. I have Abercrombie in this 5-4-3-2-1 DP and I have Charlie Daniels as a unique Grammy winner selection in the Scavemger Hunt II. Is it possible this is the first time a person on one DP expressed concern for a person on another DP? SC
TQR 14,384 Posted October 4, 2018 Charlie Daniels is among us, I reckon...
gcreptile 10,963 Posted October 4, 2018 Sir Creep's pick Michael Abercrombie is "very, very, very sick" https://www.washingtonpost.com/gdpr-consent/?destination=%2fsports%2f2018%2f10%2f04%2feach-day-is-battle-parents-injured-tennessee-state-player-praise-quick-medical-attention%2f%3f&utm_term=.674f4a0b65a0 (behind paywall - but Google shows it)
TQR 14,384 Posted October 12, 2018 In light of many of our Deadpools being condemned, I'd just like to congratulate Wormfarmer on making this competition that isn't a pile of shit 4 1

His mother said he was making progress and squeezing her hand etc. Looks to have come out a day before or simultaneous with your link, and it's his mum after all. I'm checking her Twitter and nothing new to report, you would think a mum would post daily something besides 'God is powerful and is making this progress happen'. If there was any medical reason for her glee you would be almost certain she would have said so. Obviously I hope the kid recovers and is semi-normal. Brain injuries suck. gcreptile 10,963 Posted October 18, 2018 No QO yet... which I like here but dislike in the Windy City Deadpool.
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted October 20, 2018 Three missing QOs, hard to do that if you were trying! Edit meant to post ABC DP

TQR 14,384 Posted October 28, 2018 Right, I'm putting November up. Word of advice: I've used up my 5 attempts at Leah this year, so now's probably the time to pick her. Quim's November No-Mores 1) Jean-Louis Trintignant 2) Glenn Hoddle 3) Michael Murphy (off of murdering) 4) Jean-Marie Le Pen 5) Roberta McCain
Joey Russ 7,220 Posted October 31, 2018 Ah well, this month is a bust, so since I don’t expect any of them to go tomorrow, I’ll enter my team for November. 1. Bill Freehan 2. Reverend Robert Graetz (was #1 in August) 3. Jean Marie Le Pen 4. Simon Ricketts 5. Tim Conway

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted October 31, 2018 SC's NOV '18 team 1. Dilip Kumar (Rumours of his recovery are premature) 2. Georges Loinger (He looks 10 years older than he is, which is hard to do at 107) 3. Violetta Chamorro 4. Glenn Hoddle 5. Le Duc Anh I was certain Abercrombie would be a hit last month, but the kid looks like he is 'recovering' (being moved to a facility that deals with head trauma, but that's improvement), and good for him, hope he can lead a normal life.
