An Irishman went into a bar in Glasgow the other week and said to the landlord, "I'm very impressed with your charity jar, there aren't many coppers in it!"

No deaths have been reported yet, only multiple injuries. Read the story before you make comments. 3 reported dead now Three people have died after a police helicopter crashed into a busy pub in Glasgow, the BBC understands. http://www.bbc.co.uk...otland-25165894 Confirmed about 20 minutes ago there are 8 dead. Australian helicopter just crashed. Fortunately there aren't too many pubs in Antarctica to land on.... http://www.abc.net.a...board2c/5128724 This year's worst attempt to crash a party by Team Australia. A pom :+)

The John Titor story is now part of internet folklore. IIRC, His story is at least a decade old and, it would appear, has been embellished and bullshitted so that he has predicted even more than he did when he first came to peoples attention. A good story but a load of bollocks. Read the forum posts ? Now see the movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2660872/ and buy the T shirt http://www.cafepress.com/johntitor I used to think it was a joke when people said that be turns out you can read the book/posts, see the movie and buy the T shirt for most things.

I finally got to reading Birdsong. It's a good read, but not quite as good as I expected. Several bits seem a bit over the top. regards, Hein
