Enough of the above eh, we all need early nights before we're back to our Civil Service jobs in the morning.

This is appauling: "quite frankly" is clearly a sub-clause and, therefore, needs commas on either side and "This is more harsh" simply continues the sentence so the "t" should be lower case! This is appalling: When correcting grammar, please ensure that your spelling is correct! (Hastily checks for grammar & spelling errors) FFS, it was ironic! Like raiiiiiiin on your wedding day? (I do apologise)

Wasn't sure whether to post this here or the Jimmy Saville thread. This 'dope' T-shirt also spells pedo over and over again

Doesn't the Queen only have six months to go anyway according to the globe, it would only be natural to prepare now? Although her genetics would indicate she's got a good 10-15 years left. I do think it's about time Philip gracefully left now though. Two hundred and sixty fucking freebie foreign holibags, 261 is meant to be the last one. (France for the woohoo 100 years celebr commorations). I wonder if any papers will be prepared to run the headline "Britain's oldest (or biggest) benefit scrounger buys the farm" when she goes?

Sympathising with the offender? where do you get that from? EGN and I are clearly on the same wavelength, we remember how things actually were then. If I'd been groped by DLT or his ilk, I'd probably have done him some minor damage with an elbow or knee at the time. Job done. I wouldn't be running to the police about it in 2013, that's for sure.

It is this situation that the OFSTED regime has contributed to. Who would expose themselves to the ritual humiliation of this type of witch hunt when there are many easier ways of earning a living. This becomes a vicious downward spiral. After finishing her degree a few years ago my niece, who had always wanted to be a teacher, tried to enrol on a post-graduate teaching course. However as the recession had just hit the course was filled by people who couldn't get other jobs and thought that teaching was a good stop gap until the job market picked up. My daughter has been taught by some brilliant teachers but also some incompetant ones. In every profession there are a range of abilities and talents. In reality the OFSTED inspections should be an opportunity to improve schools by highlighting best practice and suggesting areas of improvement but in an atmosphere of fear and mistrust they cannot be currently seen as constructive.
