Who the fuck called this thread "Joan Rivers, Please Lord". The woman is absolutely hilarious. She's part of a rare breed nowadays - comedians who are not afraid to say what they think and cross into areas that others feel are "too sensitive" or "off limits". Hope she pulls through.

Lots of things are either missing or in short supply in these extremely strained and fractious times we live in which put one in mind of the run-up to World War One. Like.... quality entertainment, a palpable sense of national security, and politicians who you wouldn't want to see pushed into a vat of radioactive molasses. (Then again you're probably too dumb to even realise we live in such times.) So, is it really that much of a big deal that those haven't been filled in? It's a small casualty in the grand scheme of things and this website is still doing a lot better than your shitty one (whatever it is). Besides, I think having (an) AWOL leader(s) lends us a slightly lovable air of a mad cult, a little bit like Scientology but obviously much less scary and nuts. Or something like that. In summary: Shut up.

I'm giving serious thought to putting Tony Blair's name forward under this thread, because the more I see and hear of the man and his arrogance, avarice and apathy, there just might be some nutter out there who could do us all a favour and get rid of him and his slag of a wife. OK, I hate them both with a vengeance, but how is this man getting away with what he is? I see that whilst the Middle East rages, the Middle East peace envoy is having yet another freebie, paid for by some sucker who has toadied up to the slimeball... I would like to take Blair to a nearby pub and introduce him to the landlord, whose son was one of the many who lost their lives through this man's stupidity. If that's not bad enough, it appears that one of his brats will be an MP next year, for a safe seat in Liverpool...............God, I need a drink!!!!!!

I was watching some Zizek on YouTube last night (as you do.) He was rubbing his nose constantly in some of the clips like and . I Googled around and a number of people online allege/suspect he has a serious cocaine habit. That, along with his heart condition (he apparently had an actual albeit mild heart attack some years ago) and his obesity mean I am considering him more and more seriously as a contender to go in the next few years. As always with Zizek, he is clearly baiting the interviewer in this article so it is hard to separate the truth from the bullsh*t, but he mentions his heart attack briefly. Cocaine socialism?
