Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist

Recommended Posts

Here is the latest version of the graph following the death of Bob Dole

There is normally a space for an extra death in December

Thought I should just finish this off with the final graph and thoughts

Finishing on 12 hits 2021 just managed to draw level with 2016 and 2018 the following years after these two performances were better 2017 broke the record and 2019 managed 13 hits.

I am comfortable with my prediction of 14 hits based on the list this year

I finished 2021 on 13 hits on my shadow list with Tutu & White being late scorers for me

Kate Williams (the BBC radio presenter) has had it for a while but she was a lot younger than the average sufferer and they caught it at a surprisingly early stage.

Random observation, Kate Williams watching the big event on CNN right now and commenting. Seems fine.

Is that the same  Kate Williams? I think the CNN Kate Williams is a red haired royal historian and scholar?

@gcreptile There's a well-known Kate Williams (bubbly red-head historian) who is CNN's go to for big British events.

And the considerably more obscure Kate Williams, who used to read the news on BBC radio, and she was the one with cancer.
