From 1:18 to 1:37 they show Steve McMichael :pop:

Facts, Mongo was probably just hanging on for this announcement. Saying he looks barely alive is an extreme understatement

FINALLY! Now my joker can die with a smile on his face. It would be kinder to both him and his family.

I guess the Hall of Fame for Mongo is like Rosalynn for Jimmy.

Nothing will change.

He looks less alive than Shane McGowan did a few weeks before he died.

I think his wife is in very deep denial.

He has said he wanted to live to see his HOF induction so maybe things will change.

Honestly think Mongo might only be beaten by that Thai monk (or whatever the fuck he was) from a few years ago in terms of the deadest-looking living person ever posted to this forum.

They won't let him go even this time. His wife's denial is too deep, I guess she is ready to renegotiate a DNR order again.

What I said? They just don't understand when it's time to let him go, and the HoF was just an excuse.

Thread for Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve McMichael, better known as Mongo. Also known as one of the Four Horsemen WCW stable and frequent opponent/ally of Ric Flair.

Diagnosed with ALS in 2021, looked dead for two years, hospitalised in critical condition in August 2023, his wife had him resuscitated in order to see his HoF induction. Now that he is in the HoF he has been hospitalised with UTI, pneumonia and sepsis, still he is decisively improving and will be discharged in the next few days. No one would have bet on him being still alive two years ago.
