Fucking hell! Murray is going to be the death of me! Wrote him off again at 7-9 down, and somehow he found a way again! Taped the Fucking swimming and watched it afterwards. Fucking Duncan Scott was a Fucking machine on that final leg, never in doubt, and the other 3 were superb too. 2 Fucking Medals today and they've both been Fucking Gold!!!

The Fucking Triathlon is finally underway at Fucking Stupid O'clock. Brutal swim in the Seine, group of 10 leading on the bike by more than a minute, 2 Brit girls among them, along with 2 Frenchies and Dame Flora Duffy among others. In with a shout!

Oh my Fucking god, the Women’s Quad Fucking Sculls!!! Photo Fucking Finish and GB given the Gold, and they were half a length down with less than 200m to go! Fucking scenes

Just to puncture all the positivity, GB have been on the end of one Fucking awful boxing decision after another this week. I've yet to watch a match I don't think our guys or gals won and we haven't won any of them. And, of course, I know jack shit about boxing, but Richie Woodall and Ronald McIntosh do and they've also reckoned we've won pretty much every one. Bent as a nine-bob note.

Fucking Men's Individual Gymnastics is an enjoyable watch. The poor Canadian fella though; an equipment malfunction launched him off the bar, he was allowed another go, took another tumble because his hand was Fucked, and still carried on the routine and finished strongly. Absolute trooper.

Think part 1 is managed, they've got 3 points and -2, Australia have 3 points and -3, so should qualify as the second best third place team. (Why are there only 3 groups in the women's football at the Olympics?!)

 

Whether they get far enough is another matter.
