Guest Ronnie Posted May 15, 2006 Lillian Gertrude died May 6th, 2006. She was the last survivor who remembered any of the tragedy. She seldom commented, but she did state that the faces of her father and 3 brothers peering over the railing haunted her for many years.

Godot 149 Posted May 17, 2006 Also, anyone have any quotes from survivors who watched the movie with lenoardo decaprio? what was their opinion of it? I survived the film (what people round our way call a movie) but only just. All I remember is how cold it was (in the cinema) but then we were sitting in the third class seats drinking Guinness and dancing most of the time.

I think that the film was one of the worst ever made, along with Mrs Doubtfire, and I can't believe how corny it was or how the writers managed to justify turning it into a crappy love story. That's just my opinion though, I know at least one person who enjoyed the film.

maryportfuncity 10,595 Posted July 10, 2006 Is Milvena Dean alive? She's got a F*****g web site. The Titanic is her career, apart from the luvvie stuff on television years back she's the only survivor who attends Titanic conventions and the rest. She was round my place the other day, I told her she could wash her face in the sink (arf).

The Titanic is her career, apart from the luvvie stuff on television years back she's the only survivor who attends Titanic conventions and the rest. She was round my place the other day, I told her she could wash her face in the sink (arf). she's got a book about her life out and has written a whole chapter on "how she survived the Titanic". Considering how she was only 9 weeks old at the time, I've a feeling anything she writes would be exaggerated
maryportfuncity 10,595 Posted July 11, 2006 It's a disturbing thought if she doesn't make this sh*t up. The only credible alternative is to picture her in a lifeboat, sucking on her mother's nipple, watching the boat go down and thinking 'I could make a living out of this!'
