I had forgotten what he was respoonsible for. I wondered why such a reaction against a seeming non-entity. I then reviewed his criminal record and tweeted my understanding.

Robert Wolders, a Dutch-born actor who starred in the TV series 'Laredo', has died.  He was 81.  Wolders was a long-time companion of Audrey Hepburn and was formerly married to Merle Oberon, whom he survived.

Stan Dragoti, director of “Love at First Bite” and “Mr. Mom,” died July 13 in Los Angeles. His wife Yolanda reported that he died after complications from pneumonia. He was 85.

 

Just as notable, he was the first husband of supermodel Cheryl Tiegs.  Lucky sumbitch.

Ron Satlof, a long-time episodic TV director with credits ranging from Diagnosis Murder to Jake and the Fatman to Quincy and a 1973 Oscar-nominee for Short Subject, Live Action Films for the film 'Frog Story', died July 2nd.  He was 79.  (Obituary published July 17th)

David Stevens dead at 77.

 

Was the screenwriter for the excellent Breaker Morant, and adapted his own play "The Sum of Us'' into a feature film amongst others.

Howard Felsher, who was a producer & later executive producer during the original decade-long run of the game show 'Family Feud', among other behind-the-scenes quiz show credits, has died.  He was 90.
