Jeb Stuart Magruder(now an ordained minister), Alexander Haig(went on to fame after Ronald Reagan was shot by saying "I'm in charge here"), Robert Bork(lost a Supreme Court appointing due to disgruntled Democrats who were sore that Nixon resigned before they could impeach him.), William Rucklehaus and of course as Matt said G.Gordon "Will" Liddy who orchestrated the whole darned thing.

 

A rather low level figure in the entire hearings which followed the breakin was none other than (Mr.) Hillary Rodham (who then went on to marry Slick Willie Clinton). She was doing some legal research and setting the paving stones for her future run as Supreme Dictator. Uh, no, I meant to say Do-Nothing Senator from New York State.

Thanks for that info. I wasn't for sure if Gray was still around or not. There's been little mention of him this past week other than his relationship with Nixon and Felt in the early 70s.

It was reported on Thursday that Nixon aide Chuck Colson had died. He hadn't. He has now.

Being a little too young for watergate after reading a little about it and seeing his enemy list , it seems to me Nixon tried to turn the USA in a dictatorship .

 

Political opponents and anyone who disagreed with him seemed to be the people on his list.

The people on that list had nothing to do with Watergate, for the most part. I don't understand the opposition to it being its own thread...

 

I merged the threads because there was already a Nixon thread (Allbeit disguised as this Watergate thread) and didn't see the point of having another 2.

 

However, I can delete and merge the posts if you want to start another Nixons enemies thread I'll merge them to your new thread. I didn't quite understand why a new thread was created so I merged them.

Well, apologies for the confusion. I do think it merits its own thread, personally. I understand this thread is kind of a catch all for Nixon, but the enemies list would be better if it was at the top of a post of its own. That way, people could check up on the "progress" and what not. If you could do that, it would be great. Thanks and apologies again.
