drol 11,923 Posted August 8 Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee (1944-2024) "There can be only one perennial COPD sufferer, curry boy!" (Kenneth Cope) "Hold my beer" (Jake the Snake) "How do you spell it? Bhudd.. Buddadh... Fuck, I'll take him next time!" (The Reaper is unable to take Buddhad...Budd... well, you know) Age at death: 80 Known health issues: Suffered from COPD for years, hospitalised in 2019 on life support, hospitalised in very critical condition in December 2020, of course on life support. Few survive the dreaded "very critical" conditions, but he did. Hospitalised with COVID in May 2021 and, guess what, a bit of life support. Hospitalised again in "very critical" condition in July 2023. No one survives "very critical" conditions twice, but he did. Cause of death: Died after a few days of fever at home, which apparently did not require hospitalization. Ironic, but only for Alanis Morrissette. Alignment: Hardline communist, commonly known as "The Red Buddha". His tenure aimed at industrial development of West Bengal and he was behind the world's cheapest car, Tata Nano. His tenure also aimed at protestors, usually with a rifle, and this quite caused his downfall and tarnished his legacy.
drol 11,923 Posted August 12 Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah (1926-2024) "Who's that on the corner? Oh, don't worry, it's old Sheikh Salem from Kuwait. He has been doing poorly, he won't be there for long" (God to Adam and Eve)" "Sheikh Salem has recently undergone complete self-ignition but he is still doing well" (arghton, updating the forum on Salem's conditions) Age at death: 98 Known health issues: He had ICU stays atleast in the early 2000s and after suffering seemingly hypoxia and cardiac arrest (possibly also internal bleeding) due to severe gastrointestinal perforation he underwent tracheotomy (see around 1:13 in this video - that clip is from 2007) and following a two and a half year recovery at hospitals somehow recovered and returned to Kuwait in January 2010. He had hospitalisations in February-March 2013, September 2018, December 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021...in 2020 he was critically ill, Kuwaiti social media users have for the last few years been saying "I pray for his recovery" or something similar every time he's being talked about. (credit to arghton) Cause of death: Fucking Israel, they got another one of them! Alignment: Stone guest in the last 60 years of Kuwait history, he survived 5 emirs as head of National Guard.

drol 11,923 Posted August 17 Has Queen Sirikit from the Royal Cunts Family of Thailand fame made a public appearance for her 92nd birthday? I couldn't find anything. They are a bunch of such miserable fuckwits that they might hide her death as they have been doing with Princess whatshername for two years. I've tried searching too. It's odd that they haven't shown her this time considering she's been wheeled out in a horrible condition on her birthday the last five or six years. If those two'd be dead, Soamsawali (mother of the coma one) definitely is too. She never recovered from her 2019 stroke and looked like this a couple of years ago: I don't think she's made appearances in atleast two years. On the other hand, the Thai have been very good at keeping "human zombies" alive in the past. King Bhumibol, Nyanasamvara Suvaddhana, Tinsulanonda, Thanat Khoman and others.

drol 11,923 Posted August 26 Selim Hoss (1929-2024) "No! I can't die before Michel Aoun! Pleaseee" (Hoss tries to make a deal with the Reaper) "Damn! He beat me again!" (Michel Aoun) "He wanted us to attack Israel! That's his last wish! He told me!" (Hassan Nasrallah) Age at death: 94 Known health issues: Skeletal in 2020, rumoured death mutiple times in the last four years. Cause of death: Poisoned by the Mossad. Alignment: PM during a very difficult time for Lebanon, namely a civil war. He fought for years with his archnemesis Michel Aoun, who was the legally nominated head of state. Hoss, a Muslim, asked Syrian troops to intervein against Aoun, a Christian. This ultimately led to Aoun's fall in 1990. Hoss was a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause and his relation with Hezbollah remains shady. However, he was also the only Lebanese PM to stop death penalties in the country, and he converted to Shia just for one day in order to leave a better will for his daughter. 6

arghton 6,697 Posted August 28 Yu Miu-Lin/Yu Mo-Lin, immortal and popular Cup pick three years ago apparently suffering from a recurrence of leukemia, but the article is written in a very confusing way. Jayapataka currently undergoing dialysis thrice a week. Still able to keep a tight schedule. Perennially ailing grand ayatollah Mousa Shubairi Zanjani's wife is dead. There's an image of him with Makarem Shirazi, who's already on the Immortals list. Neither of them look frailer than usual.

drol 11,923 Posted September 10 Right now I would rank Yuriko as the third Immortal behind the King and VS Achuthanandan. She is not making it out of the hospital, still the amount of issues she can survive is ridiculous. Also the Das guy is now on the mend... these people are simply not human. drol 11,923 Posted September 12 Alberto Fujimori (1938-2024) "Hospitalised" (Random post on Fujimori's thread) "He is still our candidate for presidency" (Keiko Fujimori after her father's death) No, no wait, this is not the right faker.... Age at death: 86 Known health issues: Here's a brief resume from Alberto's LinkedIn. 2017: released from prison sue to failing health 2018: diagnosed with lung tumors 8 August 2018: hospitalised for severe heart disease 4 October 2018: hospitalised 29 December 2018: hospitalised 27 June 2019: hospitalised 19 August 2019: well, you know 9 September 2019: hospitalised 4 February 2020: hospitalised 21 March 2021: hospitalised 2 October 2021: hospitalised 10 November 2021: hospitalised 3 March 2022: hospitalised 18 April 2022: hospitalised 21 May 2022: hospitalised 29 June 2022: hospitalised 7 February 2023: hospitalised 20 May 2023: hospitalised 29 April 2024: hospitalised, diagnosed with metastatic tongue cancer 26 June 2024: hospitalised in ICU after fall July 2024: Running for President Cause of death: Metastatic tongue cancer. Alignment: A dark horse in the 1990 presidential race, he won against Mario Vargas Llosa. Peru was in a deep economic crisis after the incompetent presidency of Alan Garcia, who would blow his head off many years later. Abimael Guzman and the Shining Path were going strong and brutal. Fujimori, apparently a quiet academic, actually proved extremely tough against his enemies. In a few years economy was going well and the Shining Path was a bad memory. "It's all going too well, I have to fuck up everything" In 1992 Fujimori, along with his number one henchman Vladimiro Montesinos, shut down the Congress and took all powers. He had been planning that for two years. He kept the power for other ten years, characterized by endemic corruption, human rights violations and forced mass sterilization of indigenous people. Thousands of Peruvians were killed as political opponents. Alberto had scores of minions (Efran Goldenberg to just say one) and very few (Javier Valle Riestra to say one) had the guts to stand up against him. His reign of terror came to an end in 2000 when after another scandal he flew to Japan. He was arrested in Chile in 2005 and had been in & out of jail, and in & out of hospital for years. On the DL radar for the last seven years, he had just announced he would run for president in 2026 before his untimely death.
drol 11,923 Posted September 12 Kenneth Cope (1931-2024) "It's hard to cope with this" (Hardline Carry On fan) "You must be that Asian-Peruvian tyrant! You are a digusting human being!" (St. Peter when he saw Kenny at the Pearly Gates) Age at death: 93 Known health issues: Cope was born in 1931 but suffered from COPD since 1929 at least. When I joined this forum in early 2016, he was on his last legs, and known as Kenneth COPD. He survived a death hoax in 2024, Cause of death: Hmmmmmm...... Alignment: The lord will reap the wheat and the weeds in the same day. And he took Cope, a universally liked character actor, the same day he took a universally reviled monster known as Alberto Fujimori.
msc 18,437 Posted September 12 Hardliner Carry On fan. It's a shame as he was a fine actor - Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) is one of the best of the cult sixties shows and he's part of the Dr Who family. But IMO two decades with COPD and being able to live a decent life for most of it, making it to your mid nineties, is jolly good going. Can't see Renny Lister lasting much longer.

(St. Peter to David Graham) Age at death: 99 (or born 2001 according to Thunderbirds) Known health issues: Massive stroke in 2020, seemed to have months to live at most, bedridden for the last four years.
