He's had his tongue & larynx removed due to cancer. Doesn't look like he'll make old bones. Anyone know of any other former child stars in a bad way? Well, you've got the kiss of death mate. football_fan 42 Posted March 3, 2006 Apparentely not a cert, but someone brought this up in the 2007 Ideas thread, so it might be a good time to discuss if he's on people's minds. No. In fact I took him off the DDP longlist completely as he's cancer free and apart from the fact he can't speak is quite healthy. Late last year I was agonizing over whether or not to include his name on my 2006 ddp list, but I had read somewhere that he had beaten cancer. So to my detriment, I also left his name off my list.
