Grim_Rita 4 Posted November 19, 2005 Forgive me for being ignorant but what is a Lazarus Act?
football_fan 42 Posted November 19, 2005 Forgive me for being ignorant but what is a Lazarus Act? Lazarus was the man who was awakened from the dead in the bible. So I think that iain was referring to George's condition suddenly improving, similar to what happened last month.
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted November 19, 2005 Voted no as well, shame really, but I dont think he's going to see 2006.
Slave to the Grave 26 Posted November 19, 2005 I voted no, but rather sadly even though I have him in my DDP team.
Canadian Paul 97 Posted November 19, 2005 Voted no... hasn't he had more near-fatal health scares this year than the Pope had his entire life? Sorry, can't help but draw the parallel. Ronnie Biggs makes a better corpse tease anyhow. Still, if he does make it, I see the Top 5 on DL '06 in his future.
Tempus Fugit 214 Posted November 19, 2005 NO, from me as well. He'll be doing well to last the weekend out. And congrats to Slave to the Grave on the big

Boudicca 702 Posted November 19, 2005 Did anyone send him a message? Something along the lines of, "I hope he recovers in time to see in the New Year" might have been appropriate.
Lord Football 0 Posted November 19, 2005 I think the question should be phrased "will he see the week out".
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted November 19, 2005 Wait until he carks it, the drive by ranters will have a field day, remember when Emlyn croaked? Highest number on this site at the time.
Tuber Mirum 125 Posted November 19, 2005 I voted no, too. A week tops probably. They say he has a "lung infection" which presumably means pneumonia, the thing which kills most people with poor immune systems. Don't think we'll get so many ranters as with Emlyn though, simply because we don't seem to be on page one of a Google search. It'd be interesting to get a few East Belfast Ranters. We don't get many of them as far as I know.
Grim_Rita 4 Posted November 19, 2005 I voted yes. This man has an uncanny ability to pull through.
