Typhoid Harry 23 Posted August 31, 2004 "Inspectors eight one responding" Not quite the ring of: "Car 48 where are you?" Just for accuracies' sake, it's "Car 54, Where Are You". http://imdb.com/title/tt0054528/

Grim_Rita 4 Posted November 12, 2004 He has recently been awarded the Monte Cristo award in recognition of his long stage career. Back in February he was also given the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award. These things are a sure sign of an imminent demise
Guest Flex Posted January 3, 2005 Karl Malden will literally bury them all, his health is that good. Replace him with Leon Askin (he just ask'n for it). This 97-year-old actor played General Burkhalter on Hogan's Heroes. Must have made a deal with the devil, saw him on Three's Company in the early 80's, when he was probably in his late 70's...didn't look a day over 60. Tuber Mirum 126 Posted January 9, 2005 Losing your hearing, young Master Weatherman? Perhaps you've been listening to your Manilow tapes too loudly. Why not take a break. I know I could do with one.

Grim_Rita 4 Posted November 26, 2005 Have two years of birth for this guy, 1912 and 1914. Anyone know which is correct?
themaninblack 2,112 Posted November 26, 2005 It is generally known that Karl Malden was born in 1912.
Canadian Paul 97 Posted November 26, 2005 Consensus has been 1912. A lot of actors from back in his day (IE. Eddie Albert) claimed themselves to be 2 or 3 years younger than they actually were.
Paul Bearer 6,130 Posted November 26, 2005 According to whos alive & who's dead, his date of birth is 22/03/1912.
Tempus Fugit 214 Posted November 26, 2005 (edited) Have two years of birth for this guy, 1912 and 1914. Anyone know which is correct? Yep, I'd say March 22nd 1912 is correct. Can this thread be merged with the other Malden one. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...&hl=karl+malden [merged HCW] Edited November 26, 2005 by heaven can wait

Canadian Paul 97 Posted February 21, 2006 Latest on Karl Malden AND Richard Widmark Always figured Karl Malden was doing well. I've never even considered him for a Deadpool. Richard Widmark surprises me though. I had always thought he was doing fairly well. If he goes, I'll have to start watching Eli Wallach...
