gcreptile 10,972 Posted June 23, 2017 Dmitri Hvorostovsky in Austria, watching his replacement sing an aria, and then joining him for a while. http://www.wienerzeitung.at/themen_channel/musik/klassik_oper/900228_Eine-Sommernachtsrobengala.html (link to Austrian newspaper) They write that his brain tumour is now affecting his sense of balance. gcreptile 10,972 Posted August 20, 2017 Was looking for an update on B-Team pick Herbert Kretzmer, and apparently he and his wife got scammed by Viagogo with invalid opera tickets: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4797398/West-End-legend-falls-victim-ticket-touts.html I like how The Daily Mail still uses Kretzmer to show that they've still got some class left, or at least used to have ("the Mail's former showbusiness correspondent"). Not much in there, health-wise. That episode with the ticket happened about half a year ago. I like, however, what his wife says: "I was very excited about seeing a proper performance, and wanted to take Herbert". Like he his some kind of accessoire. gcreptile 10,972 Posted October 12, 2017 Sorry, I meant the DeathList, not the DDP. We're kind of out of DDP favourites not on the DeathList and not picked by me.
