Come now, Scotsman2001... Let's look at this rationally... what did Macca, a man whose heyday ended around the same time he released that frog song back in the 80s, get out of the marriage? He got several years of free sex with a beautiful former model who also happens to be an amputee. He got some great publicity from jumping on her charity bandwagon, clubbing with seals, chaining himself to railings and stuff, and you think he should get all that for free? Pull the other one, it's got prosthetics on it. He owes her at least £2m for each year they were married, and £200k a year for life.

 

Looking at it from another perspective, if you'd had to wake up to Macca's halitosine, flaccid, early-morning fumblings for a few years, knowing that you'd once again have to appear in public with the dessicated remains of a once-fertile musical oasis whose only claim to fame in the last 30 years was that his late wife sold fake bacon, you'd expect a decent severance payout, wouldn't you?

 

And did I mention that she's an amputee? That's a crazy scene; people will pay a lot of money just for that, never mind all the charity stuff. Plus, I bet he can do a decent geordie accent now, too.
