football_fan 42 Posted February 21, 2005 Max. Schmeling hat die deutsche Regierung in den 1930er Jahren unterstützt, und da Hitler in Kraft, dies besagt war, dass er ihn unterstützt hat
Magere Hein 1,400 Posted February 21, 2005 Things seem to have gotten a bit OTT.
Larry Pestilence III 6 Posted February 21, 2005 Hmm. Another candidate for thread deletion if you ask me. Or perhaps we need a separate ranters' forum.
Josco 49 Posted February 21, 2005 ...for this reason I'm already dreading the passing of the 'milk snatcher'. I fear our Burberry clad friends (genuine and fake) and their counterparts in Buenos Aires are already unfurling the flags in preparation. I doubt there will be much dissent on the topic of Her Thatcherness when she finally has the decency. Her thread has always been more or less one-sided. ("evil cow", "vindictive old ratbag" etc.,) Oh dear. Am I going to be a lone voice in favour of Lady Thatcher? I also regret the passing of William Hague into political obscurity, so perhaps I am a lost cause.

Terminator 13 Posted February 21, 2005 This thread is up for deletion unless anyone can suggest any valid reason for keeping it. You have my backing to delete the inane drivel from the site. If I can end the thread with one last sentiment.... Aber, wer hat beiden Kriegen gewonnen? I feel better for that.
Captain Oates 21 Posted February 21, 2005 Stick with William Hague - one of the Tories' better contributions to the affray. He even has the looks! (when viewed on the radio)

Paul Bearer 6,126 Posted February 21, 2005 Can't think of a reason to keep it, after all it is a U.K. website, I'm sure if they wrote in English we would consider keeping (or merging) it..... Delete away G.R.

Happy to oblige: William Hague met a Nazi one day and punched him to a pulp. The End. Well, I was hoping to get the postings back on the "Schmeling" track, but it's interesting that a site which has been hijacked into an "is he/isn't he a nazi" is now focusing on the Conservatives (including Thatcher, Hague etc). In a strange way, the postings are sort of on track after all.......

Acutally Kraut and Nler - there are a few people on this forum who can speak German however, I am not going to appease your sense of humour and intelligence failure.... Actually, this appears to be dutch slang...... the Dutch are trying to collaborate with the Germans (no change there then!) to join forces against the English contributors. (Unfortunately, the Dutch are not best suited for contributing anything interesting, it's just the way they are.) I think (s)he is basically saying..... (paraphrase) "They (ie English speaking people) are using Babelfish to translate (sad, pointless) German phrases. [The Dutch contributor] will now write in extreme slang (so UK readers will nto understand the slope-head comments to follow)." "This is all so clear, that such a bloody idea can come from a Brit." Can't sort out "blossfussigen" (sheer footed?) - are these low forms of life? Anyhow, "blossfussigen have more of an IQ than the British and USA together". ....you get the picture. Given the Dutch are so out of reality (with their preferred concentration on drugs and pornography), it's probably best to ignore this particular dummy.
