Guest Perception Soulrider Posted January 20, 2005 Albert Hofmann rulez the world!!! He´s one of the most important ppl that existed on earth! I wish he lives forever and that his child lives into everyone mind and make ppl transcend realities and access other realms of existance. Mind Expansion. If the doors of perception were cleansed. Man would see things as they truly are, infinite. And let´s not forget to thank Gaia for it and for all other entheogens!!! VIVA PSYCHEDELICS!!! VIVA LSD-25!!! VIVA HOFMANN FOREVER!!! Let me just translate this... I like Albert Hofmann. I like him a lot.I don't want him to die. I like his invention LSD. A lot. I wish everyone else liked it as much as I do. But it does make people talk crap. It is easier to think better with a clear mind. [Although how PS would know ths is beyond me] Thank you, O planet, for the drugs. I like drugs. I like a drug. I like Albert Hofmann. I'm so glad that PS decided to share these words of wisdom with us. I feel almost enlightened by them. It's as though the doors of my perception have been cleansed. I can see things as they truly are; drug-addled crap talk.

lospalmas7 12 Posted February 18, 2005 крутой чувак сдох. дизриспект. а нада была умирать. вот. According to the Babel Fish that says: steep of chuvak died dizrispekt. and nada was die here. According to Free Translation that says: The abrupt dude сдох. дизриспект. And нада was to die. Here. I'm guessing Guest either means: You people are sick! How can you show such direspect? I hope you all die etc etc etc... or The dude's dead dudes. He died. Here. Anyone speak Russian?

Banshees Scream 110 Posted April 29, 2005 I would also hate to see Dr. Albert Hofmann go but when ur 99 years old its only a matter of time. I wonder if he could still take the "LSd" drug\ would he die on the accounts of his age?
Grim Reaper 186 Posted May 1, 2005 I wonder if he could still take the "LSd" drug\ would he die on the accounts of his age? Doesnt legend have it that his first self-experiment with LSD was, what we now know to be, an absolutely massive dose and then he tried to ride his bike home He'd probably take it in his stride these days but perhaps his bike riding days are over

Guest friend of albert Posted July 26, 2005 Our dear Doctor is soon to be 100 this coming January 11th. He did much more than invent lsd and was the president of sandoz corporation for many years. Signed artifacts are quite valuable. For instance a signed 1st editioncopy of his book; "LSD My Problem Child can easily go for 2000 USD. A very smart man who changed the world. Honestly i admire Hofmann's work that he has done all his life. i'm going to hate to see him go and usually you would find that quite rare hearing this from a deathlist regular. He is infact 99 nearing a 100 years old which sadly means he is towards the end of his life. I truely hope that he has more years to come but when his death finally arrives it arrives. He has brought us a second sight which a majority of us have never exspirenced. He gave us 'Ergots Child" as he would say. "The man is a genius"

Captain Oates 21 Posted September 25, 2005 Albert Hofmann at his 98th birthday party, last year. He looked in better nick then than, say, Gerald Ford looks now. EDIT : Here is a link to a (fairly lengthy) discussion including the voice of AH on his 99th birthday. Memory slow but marbles intact.
