Guest Death List Watcher Posted August 3, 2005 I can find no articles or photographs detailing that Gerald Ford had a public appearance with Boy Scouts. I believe that in spite of Ford's brief appearance awarding his wife 2 months ago that he is still in failing health, most likely due to just being 92 years old. The details of the appearance said that he did not speak at the event and the photo showed him looking rather feeble and not even wearing a tie. It was almost like the family had to just throw some cloths on him just long enough to get him out for the event. While I do not feel that his death is imminent, I feel that he should be kept on deathlist until the end. Most likely Ford will probably pass away in his sleep at some point, suffer another stroke, or break a hip (given his clumsy reputation). Oh well that's just my take. Teddy 21 Posted August 8, 2005 Tomorrow marks 31 years since Gerald Ford ascended to the presidency after the resignation of Richard Nixon. I'm more interested in when he will ascend to the heavens
Guest Guest Posted August 16, 2005 Ford released a statement the other day on the death of Peter Jennings. Will post it if I can find a link.

MyBrainHurts2 4 Posted September 4, 2005 Has anybody heard anything out of good ole Jerry lately? haven't heard anything of late. He'll probably release a statement regarding the passing of Wm. Rehnquist...otherwise, nothing. We'll just have to wait for him to shuffle off this mortal coil a little longer.

Even more so I think everyone will agree that it is highly doubtful he will be able to come to Washington for the funeral service.

We'd be able to compare Gerry Ford now to the Gerry Ford at Reagan's funeral.
GracieJc8 3 Posted September 5, 2005 Apparently the Rehnquist service is open only to the family and a few friends. So the odds are there will be no ex presidents there.

football_fan 42 Posted September 11, 2005 Both Gerald Ford and Walter Cronkite have been very quiet as of late and are missing scheduled events that they usually attend. This could a sign that their health is deteriorating. Of the two, I think that Gerald Ford will be the first one to meet his maker.

This could a sign that their health is deteriorating. Of the two, I think that Gerald Ford will be the first one to meet his maker. Walter has been quite but i'm pretty sure recently Ford attented some sort of award assembly for Betty. I didn't think he looked that bad but that was what? A month or two ago? It was probobly one of those things he had to attend. If he choose to lay in bed the media would most likely blast rumers of Gerald's frailty. I honestly think Ford will be around just a little bit longer. He's a grand choice though for 2006.
GracieJc8 3 Posted September 12, 2005 Ford might have a little time left. I believe he has a year or so to break Reagan's record for longevity. That will be interesting to see if he can pull that one off.

Banshees Scream 110 Posted September 23, 2005 The death of Ford is imminent. So is it? Trying to outmatch the great Banshees Scream? I say Gerald Ford has some days left ahead of him. But the Banshee surely hasn't forgotten about him. I'm counting on his demise for next year but there's always a chance of death with poor old Gerald. Besides JKG i'm also looking towards Brooke Astor as another prediction but if i got her death correct i wouldn't look towards more respect with my power to predict. With her it's kind of a give away.

Magere Hein 1,400 Posted September 23, 2005 Hes right.Ford may have only days left to live. How do you know? For now Banshees Scream is my favourite IDP (imminent death predictor) following his recent success with Wiesenthal. regards, Hein
Dr Strangelove 14 Posted September 23, 2005 The death of Ford is imminent. Okay I'm really getting sick of these "xxyyz death is iminent" type messages. Especially from an unregistered and unnamed guest. If you want your message to be taken seriously please include URLs/references to back up the decline of "xxyyz".
