Lady Die 63 Posted September 23, 2005 The death of Ford is imminent. Okay I'm really getting sick of these "xxyyz death is iminent" type messages. Especially from an unregistered and unnamed guest. If you want your message to be taken seriously please include URLs/references to back up the decline of "xxyyz". Who's xxyyz?

Can you provide us with a link to your source? Regards, ff Right there with you, haven't found anything in the news on Gerry's imminent demise here in the States, and, working a few minutes from the US Capitol, haven't heard anything by word of mouth although with figures of power like Gerry, media silence is an indication that something just miiiiight be wrong. Right now, going through the living US former presidents, Jimmy Carter is fairly active with his Habitats for Humanity, George Bush the Elder and Bill Clinton are all over the place together pushing for aide for the victims of hurrican Katrina (and probably will be for Hurricane Rita) and Gerald Ford is nowhere to be seen or heard or read. Gerry will go when he goes, but I'll be surprised if it's in the next few days or weeks.

millwall32 114 Posted September 26, 2005 Jerry hasn't said anything publicly about wishing Dick Cheney a speedy recovery? lol Gerry (and I note the falmiliarly matey tone) hasn't said anything publically about anything for years. He occasionally pops up on C-Span and was taken ill at the Republican party convention last year buit that is about it. Not exactly a shining Carter-esque example of ex-presedential behaviour. MyBrainHurts2 4 Posted October 6, 2005 I predict the death of Gerald Ford within the next 12 months at the very most. didn't you make a prediction on Ronnie Biggs not long ago...a prediction date that has since passed? Eh, 12 months is a better time frame. If Gerry does go, I get an extra day off work (clear out government workers for a day for whatever reason).

It's been nearly a month since we had a death.

It's been nearly a month since we had a death. That's the usual, I wouldn't be complaining. I'm sure JKG or the 103 year old Brooke Astor will slip away in the near future. And yes there's always Ronnie Biggs which according to the 'Who's next poll" leads by a ton with 9 votes or so. But i just don't see him going this year..
