BrunoBrimley 86 Posted March 21, 2007 Movie to be on Turner Classic Movies Saturday at 8pm eastern US. What time will that be Western UK time? It would depend on how Western you are. Are you in Omelet territory? Surely you've heard of the Western Omelet Zippity doo dah....visitate this location for help deciphering your timeage. World Time Zones Or.... Time Clock Perhaps all this mention of Sid is because his cohort back on his Television show back int he 1950s, Janet Blair departed the stage last month at the age of 85. Speaking of cohorts....how's Carl Reiner doing these days? Reiner turned 85 just yesterday.....

Movie to be on Turner Classic Movies Saturday at 8pm eastern US. I know I brought Sid up at one point or another... ahhh... here it is: Sid I don't think that Sid has looked that great in the last 5-6 years or so. He certainly hasn't aged gracefully - I don't know if he's in bad health though - some people just look like hell.
Paul Bearer 6,102 Posted March 29, 2007 I know I brought Sid up at one point or another... ahhh... here it is: Sid I had a quick look at your list, not very good, eh? Only one (to my knowledge) dead out of eleven. Must do better, see me after class

weatherman90 7 Posted March 29, 2007 Very bad list indeed - all survive except poor Al - that's what he gets for lying about his age.
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted December 11, 2009 News from the Larry Gelbert memorial evening... Perhaps the most touching moment came from Sid Caesar. I'll say this as delicately as I can: The great Caesar is not in great shape. He is frail and largely confined to a wheelchair. Unable to get up on stage, he delivered his speech from the front row of the audience, helped to his feet by an aide. Edit - I should have known he'd have his own thread somewhere: http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...5&hl=Caesar . Cowboy Ronnie 78 Posted February 12, 2014 In the 1950's Superman TV show, newspaper boss Perry White would frequently exclaim, "Great Caesar's ghost!" Not sure that is well-enough known for deadline purposes. So, maybe we should go with, "I come to bury Caesar", (and praise the committee for picking him).
