He was one of that exceptionally large group of people hospitalised in May last year who survived ICU/critical conditions...others of those still living include T. Rajendar (who "completely recovered" from cardiac arrest and internal hemorrhage), Thomas Markle, Abdul Moyeen Khan, Giorgio Napolitano, Kong Nay (how's he still alive?), Juha Väätäinen, Sukri Bommagowda (still alive and quite frail), Stefano Tacconi, G.N. Saibaba and Bonda Mani.

Kong Nay ("Cambodia's Ray Charles") apparently back in hospital once again.

Indian local politician Thaneswar Boro is reportedly in ICU

Antero Greco is a journalist from ESPN Brasileira who is very loved here, for his irreverence and impartial comments, his pairing with Paulo Soares at Sportcenter is unforgettable, and he has been fighting a brain tumor since June 2022, he was reacting well, but now it has gotten much worse and it doesn't seem like there is any more hope for him, unfortunately, according to Paulo Soares he no longer wakes up and is fed through a tube

Susana Baca out of ICU, but "still delicate".

Swami Smaranananda critical again. He underwent a tracheotomy last week but then developed acute kidney failure and is now on dialysis.

Also, Mark Coleman has been discharged again, Jayapataka Swami is out of home care and did a long speech today. Manolis Mavrommatis is apparently critical again too.

Susana Baca discharged .

What a sad day for Brazilian sports journalism, two great happy figures, it's difficult to find someone here in Brazil who doesn't like them both (Antero Greco and Silvio Luiz), it's very painful to see the departure of these two names on the same day, fate was not very kind to this date

A week ago he was unable to talk and unable to respond, two days ago he was greatly improving and to be discharged soon, now there's prayer meetings being held again. They said earlier that his condition changes every day.

I think he'll last until next month, but his luck has to run out at some point soon.

EDIT: New update says he's been discharged, but will be back on Saturday for dialysis.

Horatio and Cecilia are both the same person - Iain.

You've given him more attention than anyone else has on Twitter.

Shame they still couldn't find a heart or compassion for him.

An utter total bellend on the flaccid end of humanity.

Just read it, agree about his politics, total muppet, but what he's gone through sounds horrific.

But, as usual, of course he survived: only the good die young.

As a human being he's awful as well.

He's about to find out what people like him think about the disabled. I hope he's not considering sponging off the State or anything. Also, is he standing down at the next election? Perhaps he could find a real job. And then he would find out just how hard it is for the disabled to get a job.

I'll show him the same contempt as he would have for me. Reciprocity. :P

Intending to fight for re-election, fight for earlier diagnosis of sepsis, better protheses care in the NHS and wants to be known as the "Bionic MP". Good luck with that.
