Sir Creep 7,070 Posted February 7, 2016 (edited) I expect most entries to be totally obscure to those on the other side of The Pond. I suppose TV and radio adverts can be posted, but I'm thinking more TV.Her name unknown to me until today, Mary Fiumara was the mother in the Prince Soaghetti advert that ran on American TV often from about 1973-83. Everyone knew that 'In the north end of Boston, Wednesday is Prince spaghetti day.' Her 'ANTHONY' yelled out the window was as pervasive in pop culture as 'Where's the beef?!' would be years later.Anyway, Ms Fiumara dead at 88.SChttp://northendwaterfront.com/2016/02/obituary-mary-fiumara-of-bostons-north-end-prince-pasta-commercial-mother/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook Edited February 7, 2016 by Paul Bearer Post merged

Lard Bazaar 3,800 Posted February 8, 2016 I don't need to name my car. It is simply 'The Scenic'. A lean, green loving machine of absolute POWER.

Spade_Cooley 9,542 Posted April 23, 2017 Trying to think of anything more depressing than Heather Graham advertising Foxy Bingo, while dressed in a fox suit. Maybe the children of Romanian orphanages, idk.

But this explains why when I went into M&S yesterday (a rare event) I was confronted by a large display of toy Paddingtons. A simpering staff member was hovering, clutching a Paddington, ready to waylay me but I avoided her.

When I bought it, I told the salesman 'I can't believe I'm buying a brown vehicle' cuz I think it's a horrific colour (white being the worst unquestionably), to which he informed me 'it's not brown, it's called 'Golden Bronze', which basically sealed the deal.
