Magere Hein 1,399 Posted March 13, 2016 Today in 1941 Dutch gobelin restorer and teacher Bernard IJzerdraat died before a German firing squad, aged 49. He was arrested on 25 November 1940 for anti-German propaganda, espionage and planning violent attacks, the first Dutchman to do so, within a week after the Dutch surrendered. 17 other resistance figthers were executed at the same place the same day. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Spade_Cooley 9,464 Posted March 15, 2016 Well, it revolved around the fact that police drug busts are never done at 11am in the morning, when the suspect could be out and about, you do a drug raid at 4am when they're going to be asleep and the whole neighbourhood won't see a fucking police van and riot squad pull up. I think the implication is that the raid was done at the behest of another, much bigger, drug lord in the area to take Smiley out of action.
