It's not so much the grammar, but the Americanism. As adjectives,  "pissed" has a different meaning from "pissed off", and I would prefer to keep the distinction.

A folk singer, comedian (1983 Channel 4 series), sometime actor (LotSW, Corrie, Emmerdale), radio presenter, he's most well-known nationally for his number 3 hit of 1981, Capstick Comes Home, performed with the Frickley Carlton Main Colliery Band.

Irish actor Richard Harris's Sporting Life came to end 18 years today. Twice nominated for an Academy Award (for This Sporting Life and The Field), he was also the original Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films.
