Oh, and could we alter this thread title slightly...pedants like me get easily irritated when we see "there" when it should plainly be "their". So they're. Sorry, I realised it myself just after I wrote it. You have to remember that outside this forum I almost never speak or write in English, so it is somewhat easier for me to make mistakes than it is for the other people here. Don't worry - my knowledge of Dutch is limited to "dank u wel" and "Het Kanon."
Death Impends 8,043 Posted July 15, 2009 For voice actors from that era, June Foray's a big one that's still around... probably the only big one.

Does Janet 'Penelope Pitstop/Judy Jetson' Waldo count as a big one? She's 85 according to wiki and 91 on imdb. I wonder if she's done the wild thing with Peter Perfect yet. Toast 16,232 Posted August 27, 2012 Also not really necessary to post it in the dead of 2012 as well. I think every death should be posted in the year thread. That way it's a comprehensive record in a single thread. But I'm not in charge.

time 8,674 Posted November 4, 2012 (edited) One of the most famous voices in Britain, Brian Cobby, has died aged 83.He was the voice of the speaking clock for 21 years. I never realised he was also this voice. Edit. No, he didn't die 'at the third stroke', just in case you were wondering.
