maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted July 26, 2015 Incidentally, Fort are currently 10th, two teams still to play their first game and Huntley bringing up the rear of those who have played by virtue of their first 90 minutes of league action leaving them defeated with a goal difference of -4. maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted July 27, 2015 Predicting now a full season losing streak Hmmm Not sure, last year's alarming blip may have been the sign of a troubling sense of ambition and there are some truly dire teams in that league, watchable somewhere in the BBC twilght zone if you have a digibox (but it's advisable to shift a whisky or two before subjecting yourself to such horrors). I predict now Fort will stumble along, sneak a win or two, and finish somewhere off the bottom but close to it. What do our other readers think?

maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted August 15, 2015 Today's full time score Wick Academy 8 FWFC 1. Back to the old ways :-( Bloody hell Oh man, get a fucking grip. Rothes took a 12-2 tanking and still sit bottom of the league. Fort's four defeats and -18 goal difference still don't compare with their similar record and -26 tally. So, basically, it looks like our season comes down to 180 intense minutes in the league clashes between these two titans of terrible togger.

I'd say Fort's performance was a blip, but Rothes have form at being shite too. Isn't it nice and simple when the season comes down to two games about who'll finish bottom, eh? Rothes goal difference is already -38 and it isn't even September. Seriously, they are shite to a degree us Fort watchers can barely comprehend. Took a 0-9 pasting yesterday. But Fort have long-term form, so should come bad again soon.

Have they got some new players? There are some new names on the team sheet this season. Whether you'd regard the typical athletically challenged specimen sighted on the pitch in Highland League games as a "player" is another question entirely.
