Article on cartel boss Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo's health from December. It mentions he suffers from colon cancer, rheumatism, hiatal hernia, hypertension, "long list of other diseases" and apparent dementia and is almost completely bedbound.

Also, I'd keep an eye on the current Patriarca boss, Carmen DiNunzio. If you google him you'll see why he's called "The Big Cheese" and he's now around 67. Might have  a chance to obit.

Louis "Bobby" Manna (1929) Genovese crime family consigliere. Involved in a lot of murder plots, unfortunately for him the FBI recorded his conversations. Currently incarcerated at Federal Medical Center, Rochester, meaning that he might be a goner soon. Rumored dead in November 2024.

Albert "Kid Blast" Gallo (1930) Prominent Genovese mobster, might or might not have murdered Gambino and Murder, Inc. boss Albert Anastasia. Absolute fossil and hasn't been heard of in years.

Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo (1930) Head of the Guadalajara Cartel and prominent early cartel boss who now lives under house arrest in his mansion. Said to suffer from a billion health issues.

Domenico Oppedisano (1930) Ceremonial 'Ndrangheta head. No idea how prominent this guy is. Arrested in 2010, sentenced to 10 years in 2012, "concerns for his health conditions" in 2014. 

Raymond "Spanish Raymond" Márquez (1930) Puerto Rican Harlem numbers racket boss. Made Fat Tony Salerno a billionaire.

Giuseppe "Pippo" Calò (1931) Called the cashier of Cosa Nostra, boss of Porta Nuova for nearly two decades. Involved in the Vatican Bank scandal, sentenced to life imprisonment in 1989 for organising the 1984 Train 904 bombing (and later given further life sentences). Allegedly ordered the murder of Roberto Calvi, "God's Banker".

Freddie Foreman (1932) English Cray Twins associate who murdered Frank "Mad Axeman" Mitchell. Used to be called Brown Bread Fred due to his ability to dispose bodies. Biopic of him made in 2018, interviewed earlier this year and seems to be in decent health.

Vincenzo Aloi (1933) Colombo acting/figurehead boss 1971-1973. Godson of Carlo Gambino. Sided with underboss Victor Orena against boss Carmen Persico in the 1990s but still made acting consigliere by Persico a few years later. Retired for more than a decade now. 

Charles "Chuckie" Tuzzo (1933) Genovese capo.

Anthony "Fat Tony" Rabito (1934) Bonanno consigliere and racketeer. 

John "Johnny Sausage" Barbato (1934) Genovese capo and former underboss, once personal bodyguard for Benny Eggs Mangano. Said to be active.

Stephen Flemmi (1934) Whitey Bulger associate and top informant for the FBI who became a PR nightmare for them. All-around disgusting piece of shit who molested and killed his stepdaughter. Also killed Patriarca mobster Richard Castucci, Winter Hill gangster Edward G. Connors, Irish-American gangster Edward McLaughlin, Telex chairman Roger Wheeler and more or less 40 others. Allegedly suffering from health issues behind bars.

Benedetto Spera (1934) Sicilian Mafia, boss of the Belmonte Mezzagno Mafia family. Once the right-hand man of Bernardo Provenzano, he is credited with re-organising the Sicilian Mafia after the arrest of Toto Riina. Also said to have ordered the murders of anti-mafia lawyers Paolo Borsellino and Giovanni Falcone. Behind bars since 2001.

Anthony "Sonny" Ciccone (1934) NY Capo who controlled Staten Island and Brooklyn waterfronts for over two decades during when Gotti was boss. Maybe best known for attempts to extort money from Steven Seagal.

Victor Orena (1934) Acting boss of the Colombo crime family in the 90s who challenged Carmen Persico. Suffering from advanced dementia behind bars.

Victor "Little Vic" Amuso (1934) Bloodthirsty boss of the Lucchese family, serving a life sentence. There are recentish images of him online and he apparently still controls the family from behind bars. Claims to suffer from "serious chronic ailments" but I wouldn't count arthritis as serious.

Kath Pettingill (1935) Matriarch of the Melbourne Pettingill family, involved in the Melbourne gangland killings. 

Salvatore Avellino (1935) Lucchese capo and right-hand man of boss Anthony "Tony Ducks" Corallo. Involved in labor racketeering in the garbage and waste management on Long Island, now a multimillionaire.

Matthew Madonna (1935) Once acting Lucchese boss, sentenced to life in prison in 2020. Ordered hit on Michael Meldish in 2013 for telling him to fuck off. Rumored dead of COVID some years ago when he was gravely ill, but survived and recovered decently.

 

A few of them don't have Wikipedia pages, incl. current Genovese capo Silvio DeVita (1931?), low-profile Luppino boss Rocco Luppino (193x) and Mario Fiore (1924) Genovese guy who is not notable but is very much alive. Vincent Cafaro is in Witness Protection and not included, not enough on the internet on Wallace Rice and Luigi Ursino for me to include them.
