He was a right-wing populist candidate in a couple of elections until 2006 when he was removed from the lists after the party found out that he raped someone in Sweden in the 1980s. Scammed people until his death. Made a ton of money during his life but not enough to afford a new liver. He scammed Vesa Keskinen (known for owning Finland's largest department store that is also no. 3 on a Reuters 2005 list of ugliest buildings and monuments in the world) for 75,000 euros and an elderly person from Rovaniemi for 300,000 euros as an attempt to get enough money for a new liver to extend his life. In March 2020 he got a new liver and said that "he will live atleast another 25 years"... Also spent a lot of time in Ghana where he went trophy hunting.
