No, we live at a campus in Germany and use the internet connection provided there. Our outbound connections probably use the same dsl router, and you probably noticed that the messages were coming from the same ip address.

Ah! I see! It is the same IP address, thats what got me wondering. Welcome to deathlist.

Great site, Paul Bearer. I appreciate the freedom of speech granted here. Mind to tell me in which country this site is located? Denic.net only gives me the hoster.

So, he's onstage in a few weeks and singing; "I've got to get a message to you, oh yeah, one more hour and my life will be through, oh shit!"

Oh-oh. Wellknown for the strictest copyright laws in the European Community (not even backup copies of purchased media allowed), and hosters obliged to log everything for up to 18 months. Not to mention the up to 4.2m CCTV cameras, present at least in the larger towns. It is good to know that a site like yours can exist there nonetheless.

Good one, maryportfuncity!

How do you like this "stayin' alive" parody? Unfortunately, I cannot give due credit to the originator, I found this one in the comments section of some more liberal online newspaper. I'm sure it wasn't in the Daily Mail, because the comments have to pass a moderator before they're published. And Daily Mail is very loyal to Robin. The article there dealt with Robin's appearance at the Alan Titchmarch show on 24/10/2011 and his missed appointment with the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, earlier that day.

It was not publicly known yet that he was suffering from colon cancer that had spread to the liver.

Here it comes:

Well, you can tell by the way I use my feet,

I'm a Cameron's man: no time to eat.

Farts loud and mudbutt warm, I've been shittin' around

Since I was born.

And now it's all right. It's OK.

And Dwina may look the other way.

We can try to understand

The Daily Mail's effect on man.

Chorus:

Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother,

You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Feel the turds breakin' and my colon's shakin', people,

Stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive.

Well now, I get thin and I get ill,

And if I can't get either, it's a thrill.

Got the wings of heaven on my shoes;

I'm a dancin' man and it's time for a dirt snooze.

You know it's all right. It's OK.

I might not live to see another day.

We can try to understand

The Daily Mail's effect on man.

"...one more hour and my life will be through..."

Tell me, is that a threat or a promise? And more importantly: will he stick to it right after "...now it's my turn to die"?

Will he then "Smile an everlasting smile"?

Perhaps he should perform "Gotta Get A Message To You" last, just in case...

He's blatantly going to die on stage.

Now finally the news about his upcoming appearance at The Palladium on February 13th has made it to a blog entry on his homepage http://www.robingibb...rise-visit/2049.

Gary, Richie and Ryan of The Soldiers came to see me a couple of days ago and they presented me with a gold disc. They asked me if I'd wanted to do them the favour of joining them on stage for "Message" on the last show of their tour and I said yes. So I'll join them at The Palladium February 13th. Of course I also plan performing at The Titanic Requiem's world premiere on April 10th in Westminster. And, I want to take the opportunity to say I feel better than I've done in a long time, and that I'm not on my last legs as some newspapers make it appear!

Hmmm.... getting his "burst of energy"? The photo in the blog is the same as in the Mirror article of 30/01/2012, but not quite as close-up. Seems like I was wrong indeed and the photo is up to date.

Damn, I just bet Popfan 20 euros that on the 13th Robin would treat us to a Tommy Cooper exit. Looks like he's going to stick around for another while yet...

Robin Gibbs says he feels "fantastic" and that his cancer has "nearly" gone :birthday2: .

More interestingly, he says he has colon cancer and not liver cancer, as has been widely reported. If that is true, his chances of making a recovery are much, much better.

Maybe the joke was on us?

In the span of one month he's dropped from most likely to one of the least likely on my list. :banghead:

Probably won't be as shit as a year of your miserable existance.

Anyway - BBC article of Gibb saying he's feeling fantastic: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-16895152

The fact that he allowed the speculation to go on for so long probably indicates that he is one of a growing number of celebrities ho will use cancer to raise their profile. And people calll us sick... :P

Swayze and Jobs had pancreatic cancer which is a certain death sentence. Probably the most deadly and fast killing cancer of them all.

Gibb me a break "A look of disbelief". It's just the gab of gibb and the optimism of the happy go lucky journalists who are better off covering stories focused on miracles and "births". Oh Jay Z and Beyonce's baby oh etc. But if he recovers all the best to him.

He said: 'The prognosis is that it's almost gone and I feel fantastic and really from now on it's just what they could describe as a "mopping-up" operation.

Looks like they used chemotherapy and/or radiaton to shrink the tumors, so they can be surgically removed later on.
