The article mentions that it seems to have been a combination of illnesses and conditions. It lists so many different problems I'm not even sure what the cause of death could possibly be.

Hailey Merkt, who appeared as a contestant on season 21 of "The Bachelor", has died. She was 31. Merkt had long been battling leukemia.
