I couldn't give a shiny shit about the message board. Geoffrey Bayldon is on the cast list on Wikipedia, so what were you on about earlier?
Sir Creep 7,092 Posted May 11, 2017 4 hours ago, Toast said: Again my advice is to RTFT That means Read The Fucking Thread. Posts 1 and 2 should get you off to a good start. There are no threads anymore. All that attaches is the immediate quote, and not the conversation. If you expect Sir Creep to go back in time (weeks, months) to compile the conversation, rest assured that isn't going to happen. Ask the Admins to put it back the way it was. YoungWillz 21,566 Posted May 22, 2017 According to IMDB, the late Richard Beale played an uncredited role as Harbor [sic] Pilot in this film. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0063671/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t56
YoungWillz 21,566 Posted August 15, 2017 Just to say IMDB now has Kathleen Williams (last on the list) dead in 1984: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0931030/
YoungWillz 21,566 Posted May 26, 2018 Being bored I have decided to revisit this thread. Now in relation to Charles Belchier, I found this: https://www.londonfictions.com/colin-wilson-adrift-in-soho.html which specifically refers to him as the chap in the film, and also the book reference here: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=ZCvrS9DjE68C&pg=PT281&dq=dreaming+to+some+purpose+charles+belchier&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiJ5oCyjaLbAhWLAMAKHWi-D_YQ6AEIJzAA#v=onepage&q=dreaming to some purpose charles belchier&f=false So it appears he died in 1968 in prison in Germany. 1
Sir Creep 7,092 Posted September 15, 2018 The wreckage of a ship that disappeared more than 100 years ago has been found in Lake Huron's lower Georgian Bay. An international team of divers found the J.H. Jones on July 1 near Lion's Head, Ontario. The coastal steamer had 30 people onboard when it vanished in 1906 during a storm. SC I'm sure there must be an appropriate thread for that. Note, this thread is not about the Titanic or random shipwrecks. It is about a film.
charon 4,943 Posted September 15, 2018 It was on a lake ffs. Not even a shipwreck. 'Minor imperialist boat sinks' , not quite the same as when the 100 year anniversary of The Iolaire hits. Now that, was a tragedy. Come hogmanay many a thought up here will be on that. Stupid fuckers/gung ho cunts and folk torn from their families to serve a foreign King in a War over nothing. Survive that, and then drown in sight of home.
